Inhotim

Today we have taken a ride out to Inhtoim Botanical Gardens.
It is beautiful here. Its bright with lots of greenery and water which is lagoon blue.
In between the beautiful gardens are sculptures and exhibitions of art, the theme throughout  is modern and is creating debate between both us Brits and Brazilians.
Personally I am a fan of modern and think the fact it creates debate strenghtens its place in the world of art.
Unfortunatley pictures cant be taken of the exhibitions so can only get the review of the viewer and I think the others were not as impressed as myself.

What I am learning here:
The botanical gardens have over 4,500 species of plant.
Inhotim has the largest psalm tree collection innthe world.
There is a Brazillian network of botanical gardens .
To sustain itself and help the community of where it is situated small enterprise exsists such as pottery classes and product sales.
