More Housing Information

My new host has been explaining to me how the famous farfadellas were crested and why.

In the 50s people built the poor houses in the mountians and at the time the government did not intervene or create regulations or standards for the way in which the tiny homes were built, as a result the standards are poor.

Issues surroubding the properties include:
Space between properties is poor
Materials used are not efficeient
The above issues create fire risks
Poor sanitation facilities
Creating hygene issues with risks of disease and illness

Current use of these types of properties include when people have a long way to travel for work so they make homes in the mountians to be closer to work.

The government now recognise the problems with these areas and are doing work to help people in these situations and prevent the further building of these types of homes.

I have also been told by my previous hosts that these areas can be dangerous and the police have a job to manage the areas where gangs are in operation.

Similarly in the uk and other parts of the world where we have poverty there can be high rates of crime often related to gang culture.

Housing for Low Incomes

I was taken to an estate in the town where there are houses been built by the Government for people on low incomes.

See the pictures. The estates will be great when built.

The qualifying famalies will have low cost motrgages of around 50 real dollars a minth (£25.00 or around this). The qualifying famalies income will be around 600 real dollars (£200 or around this) a month.

The houses are designed for up to 6 people. 2 adults 4 children approx.

Govetment have waoring list and yjen people are meabd tested to ensure people who need yhdm get them.

The roatry club in the city help provide the govermnemt with evidebce of the need flr these tyles of estates.
They have 300 of these houses in the city.

The mortgage is about 50 real dollers a month fpr 20 years then the property is owned.
They are small with sanitation facilities and would be a dream for the people who dont have homes.

All the houses are identical meaning no one will have more or less than their neighbour. I like this ideology.
