We were all touched by what our new friends said about our visit and so pleased we will meet again the conference.
I find it difficult to believe we will meet anyone as amazing as these people again. We have been so lucky to find people who we click with so well.
My presentation skills:
I remembered slow and loud, could have made more eye contact.
Need to keep it very basic and in the Q and probably need to have one person answer each question on behalf of the group to keep answers from dragging on and keep the listener interested.
I have noticed my summary about what I have learned is tending to be about the visits and places but tgere is so much more than that and here are a few:
Brazilians respect England as they bought all the coffee which helped start its exports and today the country is the biggest exporter of coffee.
Brazilians also feel they helped towards the industrial revolution in England as the gold here helped finance it. The gold brought Portugese here and created the first settlements and gave their country wealth.
Brazilians love England for creating football.
Brazilians love London, the Royal Family, the Beetles and the Rolling Stones.
England is respected for creating the Commonwealth.
Particularly the younger generation have ambitions to visit England.
So onto the next city and we have been told to expect less young people and English speakers. The new city it one of the ten oldest in the state and has beautiful architecture.
You will get some pictures as soon as we can get them on.
