Viva Agua

This morning we have visited the local mineral water production company.
The spring collects rain water and passes through volcanic rock enriching it with minerals.
The factory which bottles the water makes the bottles on site and the water simply gets bottled no purification or chemicals needed.

Things I have learned on this trip:
This spring produces the purest water in the world.
Everything from spring to bottled product happens on site.
Everyone who works here is proud to be a part of Viva Agua.

This was a fab day. We were not allowed to take pictures in certain parts of the factory but it was very interesting to see all the industrial manufacturing processes such as the blow moulding for making the waster bottles. We saw how the plastic came in tiny pellets in large bags and the process from that to the end product. This has given me a greater understanding which I can take back to my students in England.
